Real Madrid star Toni Kroos was uncharacteristically furious at RB Leipzig's Amadou Haidara in the Round of 16 Champions League clash. The Los Blancos continued their winning run after registering a 1-0 win on the back of Brahim Diaz's worldie but it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Spanish giants.

The game had barely started when Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko went past Madrid's offside trap to score the opener for the hosts. However, the VAR determined that the contact with goalkeeper Andriy Lunin from an offside Leipzig player was interfering with the Ukrainian, creating a controversy.

Soon after this disallowed goal, Kroos nearly got into a fight with Amadou Haidara for his foul over Brahim Diaz. The 2014 World Cup winner  has never been known to be angry on the field like this. Then the foul was ultimately called for but the German midfielder was angry with what happened with his teammate.

I see it the same way: Toni Kross on  Sesko off-side call

Talking about the offside call,  Toni Kroos was asked about the Sesko off-side call. Reacting to the question, Kroos said,  “I see it the same way. I think in the end he called offside because it got in his way, but the goalkeeper couldn’t reach the ball and that’s why the goal had to be given. You can’t argue any other way.”
