The Indian cricket team is in England, preparing for the highly-anticipated five-match Test series, scheduled to commence from June 20. Amidst this, while the other members of the Indian cricket enjoy off time, Rinku Singh, one of the key members in the T20I setup, got hitched to Samajwadi Party MP (Member of Parliament) Priya Saroj.
However, the talks around their engagement have been long in the news, on Sunday, June 8, the Indian middle-order batter got engaged in an extravagant ceremony in Lucknow. The two exchanged rings in a private ceremony at the Centrum Hotel in Lucknow.

The ceremony was attended by close family members, friends and selected guest, including some faces from the political arena. In the ceremony, which saw the new couple take the centre-stage, were seen dressed in coordinated colours of white and pink.
Rajeev Shukla, the Vice President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), along with Jaya Bachchan, Akhilesh Yadav, were also present in the ceremony. According to reports, former cricketer Praveen Kumar, recently retired Piyush Chawla also lit up the ceremony with their presence.
Furthermore, it is being reported that the Indian batter will tie knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in November in Varanasi. Talking about Priya Saroj, she is the youngest woman MP who won the Machhlishahr seat at the age of 25. She has also worked as a lawyer in the Supreme Court after completing her LLB from Amity University. Priya also has a degree from the Delhi University and completed her schooling from Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi.
