With the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 just a few days away from start, Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team also landed in Dubai on Saturday, February 15. Soon after their arrival in Dubai, the Indian cricket commenced their net session early on Sunday, February 16.
While senior Indian cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami were seen hitting the nets, star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was also seen taking a stride. During one of the drills at the ICC Academy in Dubai, Pant receieved a blow on his left knee.

Pant, who was stationed right next to the net where Hardik Pandya was batting, was hit from the right-hander's shot directly on the knee. The Indian youngster went down on the ground straight away and received attention from the medical team. Moreover, the youngster looked in visible pain as an ice pack was applied to subside the pain.

Seeing Pant get hit, Hardik Pandya looked concerned and came straight to check on his teammate. The two even shared a hugged before Pant’s left knee was heavily strapped and he made his way out of the field. After a brief break, Pant padded up for another session.
