Indian skipper Rohit Sharma flexed some of his dance moves on stage during the celebration of 50-year anniversary of the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In a viral video, Rohit, who was present at the stage along with former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri, did a little dance move. After that, Rohit also gestured towards Shreyas Iyer, who was sitting among the audience before asking him to come on stage.
Shreyas Iyer also burst into laughter after watching Rohit Sharma dancing away on stage. After that, Rohit and Ravi Shastri also shared a laugh with each other at the moment. Earlier, Rohit was also seen sitting alongside Sachin Tendulkar and Ajinkya Rahane, and he also signed a young bat for a young fan who approached him.

Rohit Sharma will play in Ranji Trophy for Mumbai after almost 10 years
Rohit Sharma is all set to make his return in the Indian domestic cricket as he has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai against Jammu and Kashmir starting on January 23. This will be the first since November 2015 that Rohit will be seen playing in Ranji Trophy. Notably, the 37-year-old had a forgettable outing with the bat in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy down under, and will be looking to get his form back ahead of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
"Last 6-7 years, if you go back and look at our calendar, there hasn’t been a time where we were sitting at home for 45 days and there is (domestic) cricket going on. You do get that time when you finish IPL and if there’s nothing happening (in domestic cricket) right after that…" Rohit Sharma was quoted as saying by News18.
Rohit Sharma is set to lead Indian in the upcoming Champions Trophy in Pakistan and the UAE, starting on February 19. India will play all their matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
