Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was looking in sublime touch once again in the second innings of the 2nd Test against Australia, but a huge mix-up in the middle with Cheteshwar Pujara forced the Indian skipper to sacrifice his wicket.

It all happened in the 7th over of India’s 2nd innings when Mathew Kuhnemann tossed up a delivery on the leg stump and Rohit nudged it in front of the square on the on-side. While the Indian batters took the first with ease, they turned back for the second which resulted in the unfortunate dismissal of the Indian skipper.
Both the batters nodded for the second and left the crease and kept running, but Rohit for some reason stopped mid-way. Anticipating his own mistake of stopping midway, Rohit sacrificed his wicket as he decided against running his partner, Pujara out. Hence, Rohit walked away in disappointment.

About the 2nd Test, Virat Kohli and Pujara are currently on the crease and guiding Team India to a comfortable victory while chasing 115 runs in the 2nd Test of the bilateral series.
