
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma spoke up on his habit of forgetting things and how his teammates tease him for this. During the 2025 Naman Awards by the BCCI, Smriti Mandhana and Rohit were engaged in a fun conversations where Mandhana asked Rohit to speak about one hobby that his teammates tease him for. "So. what's the one hobby you've picked up recently that your teammates tease you about?" Mandhana asked.
Replying to this, Rohit Sharma said that his teammates tease him forgetting important things like passport, wallet, etc. However, Rohit also said that this is not his hobby of forgetting things. "They tease me about forgetting. It's not a hobby, obviously. It's not a hobby, but no, since you spoke about teasing, this is what they tease me about that I forget my wallet, I forget my passport, which is absolutely not true. That happened like a couple of decades back, abhi nahi (not now), Rohit replied to Smriti Mandhana’s question.

Speaking further, Smriti Mandhana also asked Rohit Sharma about the biggest thing he has forgotten so far. However, the Indian skipper hesitated to give the answer and said that his wife will be watching. "What's the biggest thing you've ever forgotten?" Mandhana asked.
"I mean, I can't say that. I think if this is coming live, my wife will be watching and I can't say. No, I would keep it to myself," Rohit replied.
Notably, Smriti Mandhana won the award being the highest run getter in the Women ODIs in the year 2024. Apart from that, Mandhana was also awarded the Best International Cricketer in Women’s category during the annual BCCI awards.
