Along with playing explosive innings for his side on the field, the former India opener Virender Sehwag has always been known for his brilliant sense of humour off the ground. The former India great time and again has shown his humorous side in his tweets. However, not many know that the ex-India player has pulled many pranks during his stint with Team India, and the list of victims include former India skipper Sourav Ganguly.
Sehwag once pulled a prank on the former India captain, while teaming up with Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag was on the famous talk show, Breakfast With Champions, and while interacting with the show host Gaurav Kapur, he recalled how the Indian stalwarts ganged up against Ganguly during his playing days, when they both were the brand ambassadors of Adidas.
Sehwag said, “Sachin and I were the brand ambassadors of Adidas. We went to the toilet and Sachin said, ‘Let’s play a prank with Dada’, and I said ‘Okay’. He asked me to play along. Dada went inside the toilet while we were standing outside and talking.”

Sehwag added, “He said, these Adidas t-shirts from Germany are great.’ I said, ‘Yes Paaji, the stuff is great.’ Saying all of this, we came out. Dada came out and called the Adidas team and asked them to send the t-shirts they sent to Sehwag and Sachin.” He continued, “Adidas people called me and Sachin and asked what t-shirts we received from Germany that Dada is also asking for.”
Notably, Sehwag appeared in 104 Test matches, 251 ODI games, 19 T20I games and 104 IPL matches in his career.
