Sai Sudharsan gets into argument with Ben Duckett on Day 2 of fifth Test
As India took the crease in their second innings, they lost KL Rahul early in the 10th over. Sai Sudharsan took the guards and could only stay for 29 balls, getting out to Gus Atkinson at the score of 11. Soon after getting LBW out off Atkinson’s over, Sudharsan was seen engaging into a heated argument with Ben Duckett. After a brief discussion with on-field umpire Ahsan Raza, Sudharsan engaged in a discussion with Jaiswal and opted for a DRS.
While the reviews showed three red lines, forcing the No. 3 batter to walk off the field, he opted to return and engage in a heated argument with Duckett. However, not much is known of the incident, it seemed that the Tamil Nadu batter was provoked by Duckett, marring a new controversy. Harry Brook quickly intervened to separate the two players with stand-in skipper Ollie Pope also joining in.

This was notably the second incident in the day after earlier Joe Root was seen getting into an argument with Prasidh Krishna while England first innings. However, India will hope to put up a competitive total on the board in their second innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal (51*) and Akash Deep (4*) in the middle as India currently reel at 75/2 at the end of day two’s play.
