England's ongoing outing to India has already seen many  player vs player battles happening on the ground. Though the thrilling tour of the Englishmen is just one match away from the conclusion, the tussle between the players from the two teams is still not getting over. Another such incident caught the attention of the crowd in the second ODI when Hardik Pandya ran towards Sam Curran while batting at the crease.

Notably, in the 46th over of Indian innings, Hardik and Rishabh Pant were firing all cylinders. This is when Sam Curran sledged Hardik, the batsman on strike, during the follow-through of his bowling. It appeared as Hardik failed to listen properly to it and ran towards the pitch to mouth a few words to Curran in return. The southpaw didn't hold back and this aggravated things between the duo, eventually forcing umpire Virender Sharma to intervene.

Here is the video of the incident:

Coincidentally, earlier their elder brothers Tom Curran and Krunal Pandya had also exchanged a few words in the first ODI of the series, which was also Krunal's debut game in the format.

Hardik steals show with his 35 off 16

Batting in the death overs, Hardik Pandya played a quickfire cameo (35 off 16 balls) to propel India to 336/6 in 50 overs. However, that score proved not to be enough for India as Jonny Bairstow's 124 and Ben Stokes's 99 off 52 balls made the game a one-sided affair in favour of England.
