Former Cameroon striker and currently the president of the football federation in his country, Samuel Eto'o was filmed smashing a fan in the face ahead of Brazil and South Korea's Round of 16 tie in the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Monday night.
Samuel Eto'o played for many top clubs including Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea in his 21-year-long career. The 41-year-old played 764 matches in his club careers and scored a total of 371 goals to become one of the greatest strikers in football.
On Monday night, Samuel Eto'o witnessed Brazil's 4-1 dominance over South Korea at the Stadium 974 in Ras Abu Aboud. The Cameroonian interacted with fans after the game and took pictures before he lost his cool on a fan, who was carrying a camera and filming the former striker. However, the video shows Eto'o initially walked past the fan but returned angrily towards him as other fans tried to stop the FECAFOOT president.

Eto'o escaped from the person holding him and kneed the fan in the face. The fan instantly knocked to the floor and the bystanders helped him to get back on his feet while the World Cup 2022 legacy ambassador, Eto'o fled the scene and not responded to the reporters on the matter.
Meanwhile, Brazil knocked out South Korea from the FIFA World Cup 2022 to qualify for the quarterfinals, where they face the likes of the 2018 World Cup runners up, Croatia on Friday, December 9 at the Education City Stadium.
