Shashank Singh, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter, smashed a 92-metre six on the bowling of Mayank Yadav, which ended up going outside the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala after landing on the roof of one of the stands. The jaw-dropping moment happened in the second half of the PBKS innings, when their batters were dominating the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bowlers, and they ultimately posted 236/5 total in their allotted 20 overs.
The fourth ball of the 16th over in the PBKS innings was a shorter length ball slanting down the leg side, and it allowed Shashank Singh to free his arms and deposit it well over the fine leg region for a six. The ball ended up on the roof of the HPCA Stadium before it went outside and away into the mountains of the picturesque city of Dhamrashala in the Himachal Pradesh state.

It led to the on-field umpires restarting play with a newer ball, but it didn’t deter Shashank Singh one bit, who kept hitting boundaries in his innings, and ultimately, he ended up scoring 33 runs in just 15 balls with four fours and a maximum. PBKS were propelled well past 200 runs mainly due to 95 runs in just 48 balls with six fours and seven maximums from Prabhsimran Singh, while the likes of Shreyas Iyer and Josh Inglis along with Shashank Singh made crucial contributions as well.
