Ahead of the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony, chaos broke out near th e Eiffel Tower as a man was spotted climbing the 1,083-foot structure in the afternoon. The world-renowned attraction was evacuated as a shirtless man was seen scaling the tower and was spotted just above the Olympic rings near the second section of the monument, just above the first viewing deck.
The Eiffel Tower was a focal point of the opening ceremony, with Celine Dion mesmerising fans from all around the world with her voice. But the Tower will not be part of the closing ceremony, rather the event will take place at Stade de France in the Saint-Denis around 9 p.m. local time.
