Star India batter, Shubman Gill, who is currently leading the IPL 2022 title winners, Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, recently featured in The Hollywood Report India. While he took the limelight for his cover shoot , he also hogged the limelight for his statement on ever-going dating rumours.
Although, Gill has been linked with some star faces like Sara Tendulkar, daughter of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood celebrity Sara Ali Khan was also rumoured to be dating the Team India opener. In his recent interview with The Hollywood Report India, Gill finally opened up on it, clearing the long-going rumours.

On being asked about his relationship status, Gill said, “I mean, I’ve been single for over three years, and so many speculations and rumours link me with different people. Sometimes, it’s so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life.”
“I know I’m so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone. We are travelling somewhere around 300 days a year, so there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest the time needed for a relationship,” he further added.
It is to be noted that Gill has become a mainstay in the Indian team. The 25-year-old recently added a feature to his cap, winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. He is currently leading the Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2025, who have consolidated their position at the top of the points table with six wins from eight matches so far.
