Indian batter Shubman Gill continued his stellar run of form in 2023 by scoring a century against Australia in the 2nd ODI in Indore. After losing Ruturaj Gaikwad early, Gill stitched up a massive 200-run partnership with Shreyas Iyer.
Both these Indian batters dominated an under-pressure Aussie bowling attack by reaching their 100 partnership in just 13 overs. As the duo continued scoring, Iyer completed his hundred in the 29th over. Three overs later, facing Sean Abbott, Gill pushed the ball towards mid-off to complete his sixth ODI century in just 92 balls. Celebrating this stellar performance, Gill brought out his trademark bowing down celebration.
