Kolkata Knight Riders’ batter Sunil Narine hit Ishant Sharma for 26 runs in one over during a clash against Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024. Both sides clashed during the 16th match of the IPL 2024 at ACA VDCA Cricket Stadium on April 3, Wednesday. During the match, Narine, who opened up with Philip Salt for Kolkata, played a brilliant knock to give the side a favourable start over their counterparts. Earlier KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first.
Sunil Narine seemed in his best form as he started smashing the rush for the two-time IPL winners right from the beginning. In the fourth over of the KKR’s innings, Narine smashed Ishant Sharma for 26 runs. Narine smashed three sixes and two boundaries in the over to take the overall score to 58 runs with the loss of four wickets. The 35-year-old shortly registered his half-century in 21 deliveries.
