Indian Premier League (IPL) is often regarded as one of the most followed and watched domestic leagues in the world owing to the quality of cricket and the players who participate in the tournament every year. The franchises have followers worldwide, and often there are instances where fans go all-out in showing their love towards the team. One such incident was seen in Chicago’s university where a SRH fan was seen waving the team flag during his graduation day.
A fan named Dharmamithra Tirunagari, who is an ardent supporter of the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, showed his love towards the franchise as he graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master of Science in Management Information Systems. As his name was announced, he walked towards the stage waving Sunrisers Hyderabad’s flag to the audience.
The Pat Cummins’ led side’s official fan page on X SunRisers Orange Army Official, posted a clip of Dharma receiving his degree while flaunting the 2016-champions flag on X, and added a caption, “A proud SRH fan Dharma Mithra displayed the SRH Flag on his Big Day!.”

Notably, Sunrisers Hyderabad is looking like a thunderous side this year under the leadership of Australia’s World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins. They are striking in fourth place in the current points table registering six victories in 10 games so far. Apart from that, their relentless approach in the whole tournament has separated the Orange Army from the other franchises with having top two scores of 287, and 277 in the IPL history under their belt.
