The five-time champions Mumbai Indians are set to face Gujarat Titans in the eliminator of IPL 2025 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium In New Chandigarh on May 30. Ahead of the game, the players from both the teams are practicing to get ahead in the tournament. During the training sessions, MI pacer Trent Boult also took a hilarious dig on his country-mate Mitchell Santner.
Notably, MI shared a video on their social media where Trent Boult can be seen imitating Mitchelll Santner’s spin bowling action. However, he couldn’t bowl a straight delivery as rest of the MI players left laughing. After that, someone was quoted saying “That’s why we should stick to fast bowling” to Boult.

MI aim 6th IPL title, set to face GT in Eliminator
Mumbai Indians had a great campaign in the ongoing IPL season so far. After a poor start to the tournament, MI changed their gears in the second half of the league stage and made into the final four of the tournament. The Hardik Pandya-led side finished at the fourth spot with eight wins and six losses. Now, they have a great chance to lift their sixth IPL title after five years and will face Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator on May 30. However, the losing team will be knocked out from the tournament while the winning team will play the second qualifier against the winner of qualifier one.
The first qualifier of IPL 2025 is now scheduled to be played between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in New Chandigarh on May 29. The winner of qualifier one will get direct entry to the final while the losing team will get another chance as they will take on the winner of the eliminator in qualifier two.
