After losing their Premier League opening game, Manchester United started with their star striker Cristiano Ronaldo for their second PL outing against Brentford. However, the Portuguese failed to make an impact on the scoresheet as the Red Devils lost the game 4-0, he was furious at the end of the game as he didn't wave or clap for fans while leaving the ground.

It was a humiliating first-half for Manchester United as they conceded all four goals in the first 45 minutes and failed to open their goal count on Saturday against Brentford.

After the game, displeased Ronaldo walked past coach Erik ten Hag without shaking his hand and even ignored the United fans as he left the ground.

With the two consecutive Premier League losses, Man United are at the bottom of the points table for the first time in 30 years. Since the inaugural Premier League season, this is the first time that the Red Devils have lost both their opening fixtures in the league.

Manchester United will now face Liverpool in their next Premier League fixture on August 23 at the Old Trafford while the Reds will face Crystal Palace on August 16 before facing United. Meanwhile, defending champions Manchester City have won both their opening games in the League against West Ham United and Bournemouth respectively.
