With India dominating the proceedings for the most part of the match, the crowd was cheerful throughout. The Indian team fans were all hearts for their favourite players and as usual, Kohli was the centre of attention. Fans were heard chanting his name during the game. However, a few fans were also chanting Kohli’s Indian Premier League franchise’s name which did not sit too well with the star batter.

As Kohli heard RCB chants, he instantly turned to the crowd and gestured for them not to do so. The batter then did something which floored fans on social media. Kohli pointed to the BCCI logo on his shirt and asked fans to chant India’s name. As the fans obliged to Kohli’s request, the batter was seen cheering them by waving his hands in the air.

Talking about Kohli's batting in the second Test, the 34-year-old got some runs under his belt. Kohli registered scores of 44 and 20 in the two innings of the Delhi Test. While the star batter was outdone by a brilliant delivery from Todd Murphy in the second innings, Kohli had lost his wicket to debutant Mathew Kuhnemann in what was deemed as a controversial decision by the on-field umpire.
