Mohammed Siraj is on fire in the series decider of the three-match ODI series between India and England as the pacer bowled a double-wicket maiden in his very first over of the day. Siraj got rid of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root in a span of four deliveries to send England on the back foot who otherwise got off to a fiery start courtesy of Jason Roy.

The England opener smashed three gorgeous boundaries in the first over of the England innings against Mohammed Shami to get his team off to a flying start. With Roy looking in fine touch and India playing without Jasprit Bumrah, it seemed England batters will wreak havoc. Rohit Sharma called in Siraj to open the attack with Shami and the pacer did not disappoint his captain at all.

Siraj got Bairstow on the third delivery of the second over when the batter tried to nudge a stump-line ball towards midwicket but miscued the shot into Shreyas Iyer’s hand. He then got rid of Root with a Test-match line ball. Siraj got Root caught behind at slips. While every Indian team player ran in jubilation toward the bowler, Siraj was seen pointing his fingers toward Virat Kohli.

A few minutes later, when broadcasters recapped the fiery over from Siraj, it was seen that Kohli had walked up to Siraj after he was handed the ball by Rohit Sharma. The former India captain was seen sharing some advice with the pacer. Also, just before Root’s wicket, Kohli was seen suggesting the pacer to bowl a specific line and length to the England Test captain.

After this wicket of Root, Siraj erred in his lengths a bit and was punished by Roy and Stokes. However, the pacer returned for his second spell to leave England captain Jos Buttler in tatters as he hit his helmet twice in the same over.
