Former cricketer Virender Sehwag left a heartfelt message for Virat Kohli following his retirement from Test cricket. The 36-year-old left the cricketing world in shock after he called off his Test career on the morning of May 12 and several big names from the cricketing are reacting to his retirement. Recently, Sehwag also shared a heartfelt message for Kohli via video on Cricbuzz.
“My Delhi boy, I had seen you in my childhood and thought that you will do wonders but in reality, you have surpassed my imagination. Cheeku yaar, today something has come out from my heart for you. The passion that you have given to Test cricket will be reaped by the generations to come,” Sehwag said in a video.
“My frustration is that you didn't score 10,000 runs but it shows that you do everything on your own. People forget the records but remember the memories. What you did as captain cannot be forgotten by anyone. Wins in South Africa and Australia and those 60 overs of hell in England, you have already won our hearts, how many times will you win it. I wish you all the best for your future,” he further said.
