The Big Bash League (BBL) is definitely among one of the most entertaining T20 tournaments around the world. There are a lot of talented cricketers around the globe who feature in the competition and add to its richness, fighting it out to try and help one's own team to lift the trophy.

With the Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes fighting it out in a must-win contest, with the loser being eliminated from the BBL for another season, Hurricanes' Will Parker pulled off a screamer on the cricket field. He took an unbelievable catch as he flew through the air to grab an incredible one-handed catch before he slid through to the boundary ropes.

While he did attempt to throw the ball back into the field of play, he couldn't do so in time as he touched the boundary ropes.

Check out Parker's effort here:

Parker's effort has sparked a whole new debate about the rules of the game. "Can’t take a trick tonight He’s taken one of the great catches seen at the MCG," Mark Howard said, a commentator with Fox Cricket, said

"I want a new rule that if you take a catch like that and even if the rope goes back with you if you stay this side of the rope that should be out," former England captain Michael Vaughan said.

In addition, some cricket experts felt that it should have been signalled as four after Adelaide Strikers batter Matt Short was rewarded with a six. This is because the fielder had clearly landed inside the ropes and then slid to the boundary ropes.

Overall, Matthew Short's 89 coupled with Alex Carey's 67 helped the Strikers post 188/6. The Hurricanes chase is still going on and by the looks of it, the match could go down to the wire with the team needing 59 runs in 4 overs with 5 wickets still in hand.
