The ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 is almost a week away with all 10 teams confirming their provisional 15-member squads for the marquee event taking place in India from October 5 onwards. Ahead of the World Cup, the 2011 World Cup winners Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir picked their three game-changers from India for the quadrennial showpiece.
Team India will open their World Cup campaign against Australia on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Ahead of the World Cup, the Men in Blue are scheduled to face England on September 30 in Guwahati before their second warmup match against the Netherlands on October 3 at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

During Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir's interaction with famous Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle on Hotstar show Thums Up Fan Pulse, the commentator asked the two former Indian stars to pick three Indian game-changers who could help India win the World Cup. Yuvraj Singh named Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Siraj while Gambhir picked Bumrah, Siraj, and skipper Rohit Sharma.

Both Yuvraj and Gambhir backed Rohit Sharma to score big runs for Team India in the World Cup considering the batting pitches in India. Both the legends also advised the Indian cricketers to win the World Cup as Yuvraj said, "Be smart in pressure situations and when you have time to step on the opposition get your Toofan out." On the other hand, Gambhir said, "Be courageous as it will decide who is going to win the World Cup."
After taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against Australia, Team India will play their third and final ODI on Wednesday. On the other hand, India have played their second team in the Asian Games 2023 and will commence their campaign in the Men's Cricket event on October 3 at the ZJUT Cricket Field in Hangzhou. India's opponent for the Asian Games 2023 quarter-final has not been revealed yet.
