Royal Challengers Bangalore has once again put themselves in a tough spot. Chasing 144, the top-order once again failed to impress. The onus was once again on Shabaz Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik to pull off yet another stunning victory for their side. However, a bizarre run-out sent back the in-form DK.
Karthik started off well as he smashed a beautiful boundary, but soon he became a victim of a run-out. It all happened in the fourth ball of the 12th over when Shahbaz nudged the ball towards cover. Anticipating a quick single, Karthik soon crossed the half-of-the crease but was sent back by Shahbaz.
However, Chahal who had the responsibility to dislodge the bails could not collect the ball and let the ball slip away from his hands. Amidst a lot of chaos, Chahal somehow managed to recollect the ball and touched the stumps.
