Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a bitter-sweet season so far. While they stitched a few wins together in the early half of IPL 2022, they have now lost 3 in a row and find themselves at the fifth position on the points table with 5 wins and as many defeats from 10 matches.

While their performances on the field have blown hot and cold, off the field the big talking point from the Bangalore camp has been the wedding celebration of Glenn Maxwell. A wedding event inside a bio-secure bubble in itself seems a fascinating concept but everyone involved did manage to pull it off and the pictures and videos surfacing on social media suggest that the players and their families had a blast.

Sharing one such image from the event, Bangalore's benched overseas player Finn Allen left a hilarious caption. Sharing a picture in which everyone including Allen and Maxwell could be seen having a laugh about something, Allen captioned: "Water boy by day, sub par comedian by night."

Here is the post:

The 23-year-old Kiwi player does not have much international experience and with the likes of captain Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga already part of the Playing XI, there is little scope for any other overseas option to get a game.

In 6 T20I innings, Allen has 156 runs with a highest score of 71. However, it is the strike rate of 190.24 with which Allen has scored runs in his international career which makes him an exciting prospect.

In addition, Allen was the highest run-scorer in Super Smash 2020-21 with 512 runs and a superb strike rate of 193.94.
