Pakistan white-washed West Indies in the final game of the three-match ODI series in Multan by 53 run-margin. But this fixture suffered an uncommon problem as around the 33-over mark, the Multan Stadium was taken by a dust storm. As this situation went out of hand, players were seen wearing masks and sunglasses as a precaution.

But soon the umpires halted play and instructed everyone to vacate the ground. Moments later the game resumed and the hosts continued their domination over the visiting Windies side. Talking about cricket, Pakistan completed a historic clean sweep over the West Indies as they have won every single game of the tour across both formats (ODI and T20I).

The Calypso Kings had an incredible start to the match as they blew past the Pakistani middle order, taking out Babar Azam for the score of one. Similarly, Mohammed Rizwan scored only 11 while wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris got out on a duck after two balls. But then Shadab Khan pulled off a miracle rescue as he scored a fast-pacing 86 runs in the 78 balls with four fours and six sixes.

Pakistan ended with a competitive total of 269 and then dominated with the ball. Shadab Khan continued his great day as he picked up four wickets while giving up 69 runs in his nine overs. Similarly, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz also took two wickets each as the home team registered a 53-run win.

Winning captain Babar Azam was extremely elated with his team’s performance throughout the tour. In the post-game interview, he expressed how players executed each plan to the tee. He said, “Whatever we planned as a team, we executed. We are giving our 100% in all three facets of the game.”

“As a team, the way we played the second match - Nawaz's bowling performance was vital, that's the best performance. We tested out our bench strength and tried different combinations. There's always room for improvement.”

"We need to fare better with the new ball and also the fielding could be better. Hope we learn from our mistakes. I try to play positive cricket. We had different conditions in all three games, partnerships are the key. Thank you Multan crowd for supporting us", the Pakistan skipper concluded.
