The second T20I between West Indies and India set to be staged at the Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts has now been delayed further. While the match was originally slated to commence at 8 pm (IST), it was confirmed that the first ball will be bowled at 10 pm (IST).

However, it is now confirmed that the match will begin at 11:00 PM IST, with the toss happening at 10:30 PM IST.

Furthermore, it is being learnt that the team luggage arrived a little late due to which the start of the game was pushed back by a couple of hours. Notably, India are 1-0 up in the five-match series after beating the hosts by 68 runs in the first T20I.

"Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there have been significant delays in crucial team luggage arriving into St Kitts from Trinidad. As a result, today’s match 2nd Goldmedal T20 Cup match is due to start at 12:30 pm (11:30am Jamaica/10pm India). CWI regrets any inconvenience caused to our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders," Cricket West Indies said in an official release.

Meanwhile, a set of reports are also claiming that there could be a possible change in venue for the last two T20Is which are scheduled to happen in the USA. The reason being cited in these reports is that a number of players are yet to get their US visa.

In case, the issue is not resolved, Cricket West Indies will have to host these games in the Caribbean itself.
