After drawing the three-match T20I series against South Africa, Team India will look to seal the three-match ODI series under the captaincy of KL Rahul, kick starting on Sunday, December 17. The first match of the three-match ODI series will be played at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. On the other hand, Australia are going strong in the first Test against Pakistan as the Men in Green trail by 300-plus runs, early on Day 3 of the ongoing first Test.

The Paul Stirling-led Ireland beat the hosts, Zimbabwe by four wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series on Friday, 15 December. After opting to bat first, the Sikandar Raza's Zimbabwe were bundled out at the score of 166 in 42.5 overs, courtesy Josh Little's six-wicket haul. However, Curtis Campher's 66 off 71 balls helped the Irish ide to seal the match in just 40.1 overs at the Harare Sports Club on Friday, December 15.

Rahul Dravid to not coach Team India in ODI series vs SA: Reports

The Indian cricket team will reportedly have a new coaching staff for the upcoming three-match ODI series versus South Africa with the current head coach Rahul Dravid to oversee their three-day First-Class match from December 20 to 22 instead. The National Cricket Academy (NCA) staff will prepare the Indian players to compete against South Africa in the ODI series.

New York City to host India vs Pakistan T20 WC 2024 clash: Reports

New York City will reportedly host the marquee clash between neighbour nations India and Pakistan during the T20 World Cup 2024. According to reports by The Guardian, the match will be played in a pop-up stadium. A temporary stadium with a seating capacity of 34,000 will be constructed on the outskirts of New York. It is because a large amount of Indian and Pakistan origin people live in NYC.

BCCI retires MS Dhoni's iconic No. 7 jersey ahead of IPL 2024

After legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar's signature jersey No. 10 was retired by the BCCI in 2017, the board will reportedly bestow a similar honour to former Indian skipper MS Dhoni by retiring his iconic No. 7 retire. The BCCI has informed players in the national team, especially the debutants, that the number 7 and number 10 jerseys are not available.
