LLC 2023 - Gujarat Giants vs India Capitals: Kevin O Brien-led Gujarat Giants will lock horns with Gautam Gambhir's India Capitals at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on Wednesday, December 6 at 06:30 PM IST in Eliminator of the LLC 2023. While the loser will make its way out of the tournament tonight, the winner will have to prove their mettle against a strong looking side of Manipal Tigers to seal a place in the final.

LLC 2023: Urbanrisers Hyderabad win by 75 runs to enter the final
The Qualifier 1 of Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2023 saw Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers seal a place in the final as they beat the Harbhajan Singh's Manipal Tigers in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday, 5 December 2023 at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. Manipal Tigers are winning the toss, invited the Urbanrisers to bat first. Dwayne Smith's knock of 120 off 53 deliveries helped the side post 253/6 in the allotted 20 overs. Later, Jerome Taylor and Peter Trego's three wickets each helped the side bundle out the Tigers at 178 in 16.3 overs, to win the game by 75 runs.

Hardik Pandya out of competitive cricket for 18 weeks; to be seen in IPL 2024
Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be out of competitive cricket after BCCI along with NCA has decided an 18-week programme to keep him fit for the T20 World Cup 2024. Although the injury he sustained in ODI WC, kept him out of the Australia series and have also ruled him out of the South Africa series, he is now likely to mark his return in the IPL 2024.
Deepak Chahar’s father suffers brain stroke; admitted in Aligarh
Indian bowler, Deepak Chahar’s father Lokendra Singh Chahar suffered a brain stroke on Tuesday, 5 December. The 31-year-old’s father was rushed to a hospital in Aligarh and is currently under observation at Mithraj Hospital. According to reports, there hasn’t been much improvement in Lokendra Chahar’s health and the family is reportedly looking to shift him to Delhi or Agra.

Former India cricketer and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly recently broke silence on removal of Virat Kohli from captaincy roles. The 51-year-old in a reality show, ‘Dadagiri Unlimited Season 10’, clarified, “I didn’t remove Virat from captaincy. I have said this several times. He (Kohli) was not interested to lead in T20Is.”
