Team India are scheduled to host Afghanistan in the three-match T20I series, starting on Thursday, January 10 in Mohali. The next two T20I matches between the two sides will be played in Indore and Bengaluru as star batter Virat Kohli will miss the first T20I while skipper Rohit Sharma will return to the charge from the 1st match.

The match will take place at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh at 07:00 p.m. IST. While Indian star batter Virat Kohli will miss the first game, Afghanistan will be without their star all-rounder Rashid Khan throughout the series.
BBL 2023-24: Hobart Hurricanes vs Adelaide Strikers
The 33rd match of the BBL 2023-24 is scheduled to take place between the Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Thursday, January 11 at 01:45 p.m. IST. Both teams will square off in their back-to-back games as the Strikers defeated the Hurricanes by five wickets on Tuesday. In the BBL 2023-24 standings, the Strikers are placed fifth with seven points in eight matches followed by the Hurricanes at the sixth spot with six points in eight games.
SA20 2024: Durban's Super Giants vs MI Cape Town
After the first match of the SA20 2024 between the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and the Joburg Super Kings got abandoned on Tuesday without a ball being bowled, the Durban's Super Giants will take on the MI Cape Town in the second match of the South African T20 league on Thursday. The match will take place at the Kingsmead in Durban at 09:00 p.m. IST.
Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe: 3rd ODI
After taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series, Sri Lanka are scheduled to host Zimbabwe for the third and final ODI on Thursday at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. While the first game of the three-match ODI series ended without a result, the hosts defeated the Chevrons by two wickets in the second ODI. The third ODI is scheduled to take place at 02:30 p.m. IST.

In the 32nd match of the BBL 2023-24, Usman Khawaja's Brisbane Heat defeated Aaron Hardie-led Perth Scorchers by 23 runs at the Brisbane Cricket Ground on Wednesday. With this victory, the Heat became the first team to qualify for the 2023-24 playoff in the Big Bash League. Michael Neser displayed a brilliant all-round show with 30-ball-60 runs and two wickets for 31 runs in his four overs to help the Heat pull off a comfortable win.
Rashid Khan to miss three-match T20I series against India
The Men in Blue will host the Afghanistan side in a three-match T20I series, starting January 11th. While the first game of the three-match series will be played in Mohali, the second and third are scheduled to be played in Indore and Bengaluru on January 14th and January 17th, respectively. Sandeep Lamichhane slapped with eight-year prison sentence after rape conviction
Nepal leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane was given an eight-year prison sentence after being proven guilty of rape. A single bench of Judge Shishir Raj Dhakal passed the order to the Kathmandu District Court on Wednesday. Lamichhane also received a fine of Rs 300,000 (INR 1,87,148) while being ordered to pay Rs 200,000 (INR 1,24,765) to the victim’s family.
