The dismantling process of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York began in Thursday, June 13 (IST). The pop-up stadium constructed specially for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be disassembled over next six weeks. The cricketing venue was constructed in 106 days and hosted a total of eight matches during the course of ten days in the ICC tournament. After being torn down, the stadium will revert to its original state with public access to its muddy, grassy and dusty surfaces. The entries will be free for the venue. As per the International Cricket Council (ICC), it would be up to the Nassau County authorities how they want to maintain their pitches.
