During the RCB's Unbox event at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday, the franchise unveiled their new logo, and jersey ahead of the highly anticipated IPL 2024. The jersey followed its red theme, however, the RCB ditched the colour black this time for blue on the chest, incorporated with a golden lion badge of the team.
IPL to introduce Smart Replay System in 2024 season
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will see the introduction of the brand new Smart Replay System, to help increase the speed and accuracy of decisions from the TV umpire. The BCCI recently conducted a two-day workshop on the new system for select umpires, and there will be about 15 umpires working with it in the IPL 2024.
Delhi Capitals name Rishabh Pant as captain for IPL 2024
Rishabh Pant will captain Delhi Capitals in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The wicketkeeper-batter is making a return to professional cricket after 14 months and has been a part of the Delhi Capitals pre-season preparatory camp in Vizag.
