After losing their opening two matches in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023, the five-time champions, Australia dominated their opponents to manage an eight-game winning streak as they defeated South Africa on Thursday in the semi-final 2. With this victory, the Aussies will face hosts India in the CWC 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Australia crawl to 8th World Cup final after 3-wicket win over South Africa

Australia continued its domination in the ICC ODI World Cup knockout games by reaching the final of the 2023 edition. The Pat Cummins-led side took down South Africa by three wickets in the second semi-final to face India on November 19 in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. This victory also sets a rematch of the 2003 World Cup final, where the Aussies took home the title.

WBBL 2023: Beth Mooney stars as Scorchers beat Sixers by 61 runs

Sophie Devine's Perth Scorchers thrashed Ellyse Perry-led Sydney Sixers by 61 runs in the WBBL 2023 on Thursday at the  North Sydney Oval in Sydney. The Scorchers' opener Beth Mooney ran riot as she smashed an unbeaten 91-off-57 with nine fours and four sixes to help her side set a 190-run target. Skipper Ellyse Perry was the only Sixers' batter, who made an impact on the match as she scored 40-off-29 before getting run out as the Sixers were bowled out on 128 runs with three balls remaining.

Harry Brook pulls out of BBL 2023-24 due to workload management

England batter Harry Brook has pulled out of the upcoming edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2023-24. The 24-year-old was set to play only seven matches for the Stars in the 2023-24 edition of the T20 tournament, missing the first three due to international commitments. Brook's  inclusion in England’s white-ball squads for the Caribbean tour, set to take place in December, forced him to pull out of the tournament.
