Playing at their second home ground in Vizag, the Capitals openers David Warner and Prithvi Shaw scored 93 in 9.3 overs. Pant's heroics allowed DC to post a competitive 191-run total as Matheesha Pathirana picked three wickets. Delhi's new ball attack led by Khaleel Ahmed and Ishant Sharma turned the game around as they reduced CSK to 7-2 in the first three overs. DC bowlers clinched the win, however, the Vizag crowd witnessed a thrilling cameo by MS Dhoni, where Captain Cool smashed a 16-ball-37 with four fours and three sixes.

The IPL 2024 action moved to the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad for the 12th clash, where Gujarat Titans hosted SunRisers Hyderabad on March 31, Sunday. Both SunRisers and Titans came into the match on the back of one win and one loss each. In Sunday’s clash, Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first, registering an average target of 163 runs. MCA denies reports of detaining fans for booing Hardik Pandya in Mumbai
Ahead of the Mumbai Indians match against the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in IPL 2024, there have been reports of Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) taking action against fans and cricket enthusiasts booing the MI skipper Hardik Pandya. However, the MCA has come forward and refuted these reports. The MCA in its statement said, “There are rumours that MCA has instructed security against people who support Rohit or boo Hardik, this is incorrect and baseless rumours, no instructions have been given.”
SRH all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga ruled out of IPL 2024
Ahead of the clash against Gujarat Titans (GT), the Pat Cummins-led SunRisers Hyderabad have faced a massive blow with Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga reportedly missing the entire tournament. “He is not taking part in the IPL as he needs to do some rehabilitation after meeting the podiatrist,” SLC CEO Ashley de Silva told the Sunday Times Newspaper.
