Business tycoon Anand Mahindra revealed that he got emotional when Puneri Paltan won Pro Kabaddi League Season 10. In an emotional post, Mahindra revealed, “Among the people I approached was my friend Uday Kotak. Uday was understandably sceptical & offered to be the title sponsor instead of taking up a team. I told him the need of the hour was to complete the franchise network; a title sponsor could come later. I suggested that his son Jay Kotak might enjoy the experience of managing the team.” He added, “As a co-owner of Pro Kabaddi, I am equally supportive of each team. But I have to confess that when Puneri Paltan,  won the title last night, it was especially emotional for me.”

AITA announces team for 2024 Billie Jean King Cup; Ankita Raina to lead side

The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has announced a nine-member squad that will participate in the upcoming 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Asia/Oceania Group 1. The 16-team event will take place from April 8-13, 2024 at the Moon Island Clay Park in Changsha, China. The Indian team will feature India’s top singles player Ankita Raina, who will be leading the charge along with some seasoned players Sahaja Yamalapalli, Rutuja Bhosale, and Shrivalli R Bhamidipaty.
