Ever since rain washed out an entire day's play of action in the ongoing Test between South Africa and India in Centurion, the fans have been concerned about the weather for the rest of the contest. Considering how things panned out on Day 3, the excitement among the fans has certainly increased a lot since the possibility of forcing a result has increased but only if the weather permits.

India suffered a dramatic collapse early on Tuesday before the home side bundled out. Mayank Agarwal was also dismissed late in the day as Virat Kohli's side ended the day with 146 runs ahead with 9 wickets remaining. Things are poised very well for a brilliant day of Test cricket on Day 4 but will there be any play possible?

Will rain spoil day's play on Wednesday?

The cricket fans should be extremely delighted with the current forecast for Centurion on December 29. It is expected to be sunny throughout the course of the day, with very little chance of any kind of rain. Here is the detailed weather forecast for Day 4:

What to expect on Day 4?

As many as 98 overs are scheduled to be bowled as the afternoon session is expected to be extended by half hour. Considering the fact that the sky was clear on Tuesday as well, the pitch might start to crack up a little under the sun on Wednesday which might make it slightly tricky for the batsman. Just like Day 3, there will be a lot of pace and bounce on offer with a bit of assistance for spinners as well.

India are well ahead in this game and unless they suffer another batting collapse, they should be in the driving seat to possibly win this game. But with Rabada, Ngidi and Jansen looking in good rhythm, the stage is perfectly set for a gruelling day of cricket at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
