After registering a whitewash in the three-match T20I series, the Men in Blue will take on Sri Lanka in the two-match Test series. The red-ball series is set to commence on March 4 in Mohali with the second Test scheduled to start on March 12 in Bengaluru.
It is to be noted that Team India registered their 12th win in a row in T20Is, equaling Afghanistan’s record in the recently concluded T20I series. With Rohit Sharma leading the side and Jasprit Bumrah being named his deputy, it will also be a crucial game for former Team India skipper Virat Kohli. Notably, Virat Kohli will be playing his 100th Test and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has allowed 50 per cent crowd for Kohli's milestone Test.
