India are locking horns with New Zealand in the first semi-final clash of the ODI World Cup 2023. The match is underway at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which saw the presence of several prominent faces from the cricketing and other fraternities. The semi-final clash saw former batter Sachin Tendulkar as well as former footballer David Beckham chatting with Virat Kohli before the game.

BCCI Secretary, Jay Shah was seen enjoying the game from the stadium. Not only this, but a few other names who made it to the stadium to support their favourites were Bollywood actors Anushka Sharma, John Abraham, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani and Ranbir Kapoor. Telugu actor Daggubati Venkatesh was also seen posing with the former West Indies great Sir Vivian Richards during the match.
Apart from them, Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter and cricketer Shubman Gill’s alleged girlfriend, Sara Tendulkar was also seen rooting for the home team. Gill, who scored another stellar half-century in the match, also had his parents rooting for him. Another Indian actor Rajnikanth was spotted among the spectators cheering as the Men in Blue hit big shots against the Kiwis.
Akash Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (RJIL) and Director on the board of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd was also present at the stadium. Moreover, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh also made it to the stadium. Speaking of the match, the Indian skipper won the toss and invited the Kiwis to field first.
