Although the changes were a bit surprising to many, one thing that grabbed the attention was the absence of yorker specialist T Natarajan.

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has so far seen many things - be it run-fest, a nail-biting thriller or a final over finish. However, the 9th match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) has started with a twist. SRH made as many as four changes- Virat Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Khaleel Ahmed came in place of Wriddhiman Saha, Jason Holder, Shahbaz Nadeem and T Natarajan.

Although the changes were a bit surprising to many, one thing that grabbed the attention was the absence of yorker specialist T Natarajan. Natarajan was a part of playing XI in the first two matches of SRH where although he claimed 2 wickets, he was bit expensive too. His spell read - (4-0-37-1) and (4-0-32-1) respectively. While many thought, to face a mighty side like Mumbai Indians, the team management has decided to drop him and give others a chance, Tom Moody confirmed that he has been rested for workload management.

However, this could be something else too!

On the other hand, batsman Virat Singh and spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman made their debut for SRH, while all-rounder Abhishek Sharma and pacer Khaleel Ahmed have returned too. Notably, this is the first IPL game for the Jharkhand player. In 61 T20s, the left-handed batsman has scored 1,802 runs which came at an average and strike rate of 37.54 and 127.53 respectively which included one hundred and 11 fifties as well.
