Cristiano Ronaldo received a yellow card on Friday for a late challenge on Martin Dubravka, a former Manchester United keeper, in Portugal's 1-0 victory over Slovakia. Hence, Ronaldo will miss the match on Monday against Luxembourg because he now has three cautions.

During the game, Ronaldo, 38, and Slovakian goalkeeper Martin Dubravka were in a terrible collision. Dubravka was the first to touch a ball after Ronaldo attempted to get it by sliding. He took a direct hit from Ronaldo's boot to the face. Ronaldo received a yellow card for his offence, but the former Manchester United goalie was able to play out the rest of the game.

Ronaldo often has a great opportunity against Luxembourg, as he has scored more goals against Luxembourg than any other international team. Although he has 11 goals in 11 appearances versus Luxembourg, he won't have the chance to add to that total on Monday. On October 13, Portugal and Slovakia will square off, giving him another chance to add to his amazing international total.
