The special match between India Maharajas and World Giants has been an entertaining affair for the cricket fans in the country. India Maharajas skipper Harbhajan Singh and Joginder Sharma tried their best to keep the batters at bay, but Giants kept on scoring boundaries to keep the board ticking.

Former Sri Lanka batter Thisara Perera who came in to bat for World Giants smashed back-to-back sixes in the 16th overs off Ashok Dinda before the Indian bowler complained of cramps. While, Dinda walked off the field due to immense pain after four deliveries, Mohammad Kaif was called in by the skipper to bowl two more remaining deliveries in the over.

Perera who was looking in great touch wasted no time in punishing the substituted bowler as he went for maximum on his first ball. However, Kaif was smart enough to take the avenge as he dismissed Perera on the very next delivery, reducing World Giants to 135-4 in 16 overs.
