The 15th edition of the Asia Cup is knocking on the doors as it is just a week away now. The biggest of cricket rivalries will be live to watch on 28 August as India and Pakistan will be up against each other. The two teams have had a long history of thrilling games and the same is expected to happen next week. Although both teams will be without their few key players, there is enough to look up to.

The biggest concern for the Indian cricket team at the moment is the form of Virat Kohli. The former Indian captain is probably going through the roughest patch in his career so far and is struggling big time. Now, as Kohli has returned to India’s squad after missing a few bilateral series, the fans are eagerly waiting to see the 33-year-old in action.

Meanwhile, Pakistan fans will be hoping that Kohli does not return to form. However, their ace Test spinner has warned them of Kohli and has said that a player of his caliber can return to form anytime. Yasir Shah warned Pakistan to be wary of Kohli and not take the star batter lightly. "Don't take Virat Kohli easy. Yes, he is not in form because he is struggling to score runs, but he is a world-class player and he can come back to form at any time," he said to Pakistan channel pktv.tv.

It’s worth mentioning that although Kohli is going through a slump, he has some astounding numbers against Pakistan. Even at the 2021 T20 World Cup, when India lost to Pakistan, Kohli was the lone warrior for India with his fighting half-century. With wickets tumbling at one end, the former captain took the responsibility to bat through the innings and scored a half-century. If it were not for the former Indian captain’s half-century, India could not have reached a respectable score of 151 runs.
