The Los Angeles Lakers guard, Austin Reaves, saw the funny side of Jalen Johnson posterizing him at the Crypto.com Arena on Monday night. In the post-game press conference, when a reporter asked Austin Reaves about his view while getting posterized by the Atlanta Hawks forward, he hilariously remarked, “You don’t want my view.”
Despite his teammates not showing up against the Lakers on Monday night, Jalen Johnson was in his element in LA nonetheless. He looked like a man possessed in one of the plays, finding open space around midcourt, dribbling once before flying as high as he could, to posterize Austin Reaves, nearly jumping over him to dunk the ball in the net.
Jalen Johnson scored 25 points for the Atlanta Hawks, but the game firmly belonged to the Los Angeles Lakers, who won it hands down with a margin of 136-105. D’Angelo Russell, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis put together more than 20 points each to improve the Lakers' record to 37-32.
In the post-game press conference, when a reporter tried to mention the posterizing incident to Austin Reaves, he stopped him in his tracks and said, “That’s why I don’t like you.” Once the question did get through, the Los Angeles Lakers guard remarked, “Everybody seen what happened.”
The reporter countered Austin Reaves with a pun about getting posterized by saying, “Nobody got your view,” to which he hilariously responded, “You don’t want my view.”
