On November 22, legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni hosted a grand dinner for his former teammates Suresh Raina and Pragyan Ojha in Ranchi. The next day Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad defeated Gautam Gambhir's India Capitals in a closely contested clash in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2023, and the URH skipper related having dinner with MS Dhoni to the win on Thursday.
On Thursday, November 23, Urbanrisers Hyderbad beat India Capitals by three runs to continue their winning run in the LLC 2023 with two wins in two matches. Gurkeerat Singh Mann smashed 89-off-54 to help the Urbanrisers put 189 runs on the board while Capitals' substitute player Kevin Pietersen (77-off-48) and Ashley Nurse's (41-off-25) efforts went in vain as they fell three runs short of winning the match.
In the post-match presentation, Indian commentator Anjum Chopra asked Suresh Raina about the game plan that helped them win the thriller against the Capitals. While praising his bowlers, Raina claimed that they cannot lose a game after having dinner with MS Dhoni. Raina lauded Trego and added, "When you had dinner at MS's house, you will never lose."

While the Urbanrisers continued their unbeaten run in the LLC 2023 with a win against the Capitals on Thursday, the Suresh Raina-led side suffered their first loss in the tournament on Sunday after losing the last-ball thriller against the Gujarat Giants on Sunday. Jacques Kallis's Gujarat Giants beat Urbanrisers Hyderabad by one run as the latter failed to chase a 194-run target.
