Hardik Singh to use all his prize money from Hockey Asia Cup in rebuilding the house

Looking at the current situation, Indian Hockey team vice-captain Hardik Singh showed great gesture to save at least one family which got affected by the Punjab floods. For that, Hardik also decided to spend all of his match fees and prize money he got after winning the 2025 Hockey Asia Cup with Team India.

Hardik has decided to help a local from Ajnali named Gurshan Singh and his family which include his mother, and two children. Gurshan’s house was badly affected by the floods in Punjab and Hardik will help him to rebuild the house again. He will also help the family to buy furniture, fans, other essentials things and even a television for their new house.

Hardik Singh revealed that he got to know about the family through an NGO named Initiators of Change. “Through them, I met this family who had nothing left. For the last 10 days, they’ve been sleeping in a tent 60m away from their home. Someone gives them food one day, and a few others help them with other basic amenities. They don’t have any source of income or any other resources to rebuild their lives. I couldn’t imagine what they were going through,” Hardik told Indian Express.
