Formula 1 can quantify greatness in various forms, but race wins are a definitive indicator of supremacy. In over seven decades of racing, only a few select racers have managed to make their mark through their speed on track. Currently, the leader in terms of overall wins is Lewis Hamilton, who boasts an impressive total of 105 wins across his career. Coming up second on the list is the legendary Michael Schumacher, with 91 wins. Max Verstappen has managed to come in third place, with 65 wins under his belt. Other members of the top five include Sebastian Vettel and Alain Prost.
From the 1980s to the present day, each of these legends has contributed to Formula 1 history through their exceptional performances both in and out of the car. As the 2025 season gets underway, only Verstappen currently holds one of these coveted spots among the current crop of drivers.
