The UFC Fight Night 201, which happened this Saturday, saw a remarkable turn of events inside the ring as Jamahal Hill (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) secured an unexpected first-round knockout win over arch-rival Johnny Walker, leaving everyone in shock. The 30-year-old MMA fighter landed a nasty punch which saw a delayed reaction from Walker, ending the bout inside 3 minutes.

Following Hill's one-sided win, fans came up with various trolls and memes on social media mocking Walker's knockout defeat. However, the reactions from people have not gone down well with Hill, who recently shared a 2-minute video blasting them for their inhuman behaviour towards his opponent.

He said, "I do what I do for the entertainment of the fans and the love of the sport. And whenever I’m successful, and I get a knockout and have these moments that y’all like, bro, don’t use that time to do somebody. I’ve lost, so I’ve received the ridicule and the things that come with that, and I understand that people are ignorant."

"But I can only imagine how y’all doing my man right now, and that sh*t ain’t cool. That sh*t ain’t cool. Think about if that was you. Your brother, your mother, your father, you know what I’m saying? Come on, bro. At some point we got to draw the line," Hill added.

It was indeed heartening to see Hill standing up for his fellow athlete, showing the unity among fighters in the UFC community.

People don’t care about other people's health: Johnny Walker

Meanwhile, Johnny Walker also released a video on YouTube where he talked about what went wrong in the bout. He also went on to talk about the unexpected reactions and messages from fans that he received, which made him upset.

“What’s making me really upset is f*cking people don’t care about the fighter’s health. What happened after, you know. They just care about the pictures and make jokes. What makes me upset was people messaged me and comment like the jokes. People don’t care about other people's health, " Walker said.

“I train so hard. I am very committed to my career and when I get to the fight and make my best to make the show for the fans. And if I get hurt or something like that happens, people just make jokes about the knockout. They don’t care about my health even if I have brain damage or if I’m OK," he added.
