Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting had some harsh criticism for the Indian cricket team after they were languishing at 30-2 at the start of their first innings in the World Test Championship Final against Australia. Then as Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill came into bat, they got off to a great start with both playing some incredible shots. But in the sixth over, Sharma was dismissed LBW with an incredible delivery by Pat Cummins before Gill was cleaned up by Scott Boland. Hence reacting to his batting effort, Ricky Ponting expressed that India doesn’t have any chance to win the WTC Final from this position. While speaking on Star Sports, Ponting said, ” India cannot win WTC FINAL from here.”
