Raja Jackson, son of UFC legend Quinton Jackson has been under scrutiny after a viral footage of him interrupting a wrestling match went viral. The 25-year-old jumped into the wrestling ring and went on to unload around 20 punches on Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) who was already unconscious lying on the ground. The wrestler laid on the ground motionless as Raja kept attacking him.
After that, Syko was badly injured and is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Although it was supposed to be a scripted fight, Raja Jackson was alleged to deliver 20 unrestrained punches which didn’t turn out to be good for Syko. Now, the Los Angeles Police department is now investigating the matter and Raja Jackson might have to serve punishment for his act or he can even go to jail. However, US MMA fighter Sean Strickland feels that Raja shouldn’t be sent to prison and should go to rehabilitation instead.
I was arrested at 19: Sean Strickland opens on his own arrest at very young age
Taking to X, Sean Strickland opined that Quinton Jackson’s son should be sent to rehabilitation instead of serving a jail sentence. Speaking further, Strickland also opened up about his own arrest when he went to jail at the age of just 19 years. He feels that it makes the person more violent.
“Jackson's kid shouldn't go to jail. Prison should always be a last resort.I was arrested at 19 for two felony a GBIs. I would of spent 5 to 6 years in prison if the DA had its way,” Strickland wrote on his X.
“After 6 years in a cell coming out with nothing, being indoctrinated with gangs and violence. I guarantee I would of killed someone. There was one guy telling me about how he picked up a murder charge and I remembered being impressed by him. That would of been my future,” he further added.
