  • The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that a few weeks ago WWE were planning to have John Cena beat Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series Premium Live Event (PLE) and defend the title against Gunther in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December.

  • They also remarked that the rumor of WWE wanting to bring back Andrade to their programming isn’t true and his name was never discussed regarding the same.

  • Tyrus aka Brodus Clay, former WWE superstar, said to TMZ’s Inside the Ring podcast that he believes there is a “1000%” chance of US President Donald Trump attending the final match of John Cena next month.

  • Fightful Select confirmed that Chelsea Green signed a new contract with WWE earlier this year and her stay with the promotion will be until 2030 after some stellar work over the past couple of years.

  • PW Insider mentioned that WWE is working on putting together an entire weekend of events around Elimination Chamber PLE in Chicago next year, possibly doing AAA and NXT shows apart from SmackDown.

  • Chris Jericho’s planned application to trademark “The Jericho Vortex” is now listed as “dead and abandoned”, which could be considered as a hint to his departure from AEW and a subsequent return to WWE in years.
